Dr. Kolton Donovan, DC, MS, MHSA

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Donovan has a passion for learning and education in order to keep up with the most modern research available. His academic career began at Southern Utah University where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science. It didn't stop there however, as he continued on to get his first Masters Degree in Health Services Administration at the University of Wyoming before obtaining his second Masters Degree in Sports Science & Rehabilitation concurrently with his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree at Logan University. While obtaining his doctorate degree he had the opportunity to learn, preceptor, and intern with several organizations including Paraquad (St. Louis, MO), Scott Air Force Base, and the Houston Astros sports science team. He is currently a virtual resident through the University of Bridgeport working towards obtaining a Diplomate in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.

Along with having many interests in musculoskeletal injuries, he has particular interest in concussions, traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), and post-concussion syndrome (PCS). He is dually certified nationally in concussion/PCS diagnosis, management, and treatment having put in hundreds of academic hours completing courses and seminars in this topic.

Dr. Donovan's initial interest in becoming a chiropractic physician began while he was being treated by a chiropractor for an injury as a high school football player. After fully recovering from this injury, he went on to be named to the All-Region team, All-State team, All-West team, and an All-American in high school football which included begin nominated for the Under-Armour All-American game for the top high school football players in the country. During this time he was also named an ESPN Top 300 recruit and a 5-star ranked player at his position. His college career was successful as well as he was also named to several All-Conference teams and was named an NCAA D-1 All-American by Phil Steele. Following his collegiate career, he worked out for nearly every NFL team before eventually retiring and pursuing a career as a chiropractic physician.
